An unending flow of tears poured out as we said our goodbyes to Suraiya. As he vanished, he told us one more thing.
“It took a lot of courage for me to get to where I am today. I hesitated to tell my story, I really did. We weren’t blessed like you all are, so we fought. Fought for justice, for love. I can’t say it was all pretty though, it wasn’t. It was gruesome at times. But my story is my truth — our truth. Withholding this information from you would be equal to the injustices they did to us, so I’ll tell my story. You all deserve a fair start. If I’m not making any sense, bare with me. True understanding will not come easy when reading this tale. Expect to feel confused. Expect to feel hatred, and sorrow, pain and grief. However, also expect to feel joy and happiness, exhilaration and ecstasy; mental stimulation is inexorable. You’ll need to think. Your life depends on it. Not yet, but… yeah. First and foremost, I’m not the true author of this writing. The stars guide this tale. Follow and listen to them carefully. You must walk down your path with great caution, just as Helena and the first squadron did. Another imbalance in our nebula would change life as you know it. But don’t worry about that yet. Utilize this story; learn from it. You’ll need this. And remember, if you ever need me, just look up.”
